$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Rhode Island

A $1 million winning PowerBall ticket was sold in Rhode Island for last night’s drawing. The winning ticket matched all five numbers but not the PowerBall number to win $1,000,000. Darlington Liquors, 346 Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket, sold the winning ticket. The winning numbers were 05, 21, 57, 66, 69 and Powerball 13. The Powerplay was 3.

The prize has yet to be claimed.

Saturday’s estimated Powerball® jackpot is $435 million. Saturday’s drawing will be the 20th roll in the current draw cycle that started on April 5, 2017. Interestingly, the record $1.586 billion jackpot was hit on the 20th roll in January 2016. Saturday’s grand prize is on target to be Powerball’s 8th largest jackpot. Powerball® Tickets can be purchased up until 9:50p.m. on draw days.

All players should sign the back of their tickets immediately upon purchase and put them in a safe place, according to Rhode Island Lottery. The tickets are the only claim to a prize.
