New Hampshire Woman Wins $100,000 on PowerBall Ticket Purchased in Warwick

A woman from Whitefield, New Hampshire, claimed the $100,000 winning PowerBall PowerPlay ticket from the July 12th draw, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.

Her winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall number to win the $50,000 standard payout. Because she purchased the PowerPlay feature for an additional dollar, her prize was multiplied by 2, the PowerPlay number drawn, to win $100,000.

She was in Rhode Island for her grandson’s wedding when she purchased the winning ticket at Stop & Shop, 575 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. She plans to save her winnings.

Tomorrow’s estimated PowerBall jackpot is $220 million.
