Chris Hillman Saturday

We interviewed Chris Hillman here last week. The former Byrd, who release his new album Bidin’ Time, is playing Saturday at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, the best venue around for nationally touring Americana/Folk musicians. Check out Hillman and touring partner Herb Pederson below on the classic “Turn, Turn, Turn.” Don’t miss this rare opportunity to catch a legend – details here.

Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson

You can’t go wrong at Chans, where Egg Rolls and Jazz along with folk, rock and blues fill the streets of Woonsocket every weekend. Tonight, blues master Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson and his band will bring a heavy dose of Chicago Blues. Check out the video to see what we mean and click here for tickets.

Duke Robillard Saturday

The Courthouse Center for the Arts has one of the RI’s great guitar players Saturday night when Duke Robillard and his band headline. Robillard, who is known worldwide for his blues stylings, has played with Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, the late Ruth Brown and more. He’ll be joined by Sunny Crownover and Billy Novick for a night of great music. Details here.
