Newport, RI – Hard to believe it, but the final few days of summer are here (the fall equinox will take place at 9:54 pm on Saturday evening), and the first full day of fall arrives on Sunday. 1) StyleWeek Northeast | September 19 – 22, Providence

3) Ocean State Oyster Festival | September 21, Providence
The 4th Annual Ocean State Oyster Festival will feature oyster farms from Rhode Island, live music, craft food trucks, a shucking contest, and family fun on the boardwalk along the Providence River. 4) Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day | September 22, Across Rhode Island
Twenty-seven museums across Rhode Island will join more than 1,200 museums across the country participating in Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day on September 22nd, a one-day annual event in which participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.
