Newport, RI – Rhode Island voters turned out in big numbers to cast their votes across The Ocean State today. Stay tuned here for updates throughout the day and night.

As of 8:30 pm, State of Rhode Island Secretary of State is reporting 346,735 Rhode Islanders (out of the 790,791 registered voters in the state) have voted at the polls today. There are 30,890 requested absentee ballots that are not included in those numbers

The largest turnout recently for a Midterm Election was in 2006, when approximately 394,000 voted.
