Concert Review: Southside Johnny parties at The Narrows

Fall River, MA – Southside Johnny brought the distinct sound of the Jersey Shore to The Narrows on Friday. Nestled in quaint Battleship Cove, the venue sported a sellout crowd that danced in the aisles to The Asbury Jukes. The band played many of their classic hits such as “Love on the Wrong Side of Town,” “The Fever,” “Talk to Me,” “Trapped Again,” “Having a Party,” as well as their signature song “I Don’t Want to Go Home.”

Dating back to the 70’s, and following Bruce Springsteen as pioneers of the Jersey Shore sound, the band put on an energized performance that left the packed house breathless. As always, the horn section kept the crowd on its feet. What’s Up Rhode Island was there to capture a night of solid Jersey rock.
