Jimmie Vaughan rocks The Narrows Center For The Arts

Texas blues master Jimmie Vaughan rocked The Narrows this past Thursday. The older brother of Texas blues guitar legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, performed before a sellout crowd. A founding member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Vaughan wowed the audience with his own distinctive style of blues guitar.

As an added bonus, the audience was treated to an unexpected and unannounced guest appearance by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and fellow Texas native, Steve Miller. Miller joined Vaughan on stage for the final few songs of the set. The duo jammed together seamlessly in front of a stunned crowd.

What’sUpRhodeIsland’s Rick Farrell was there to capture a fantastic evening of Texas blues guitar. See the slideshow below for photos.
