Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has announced a significant sale on the East Side of Providence.

Spanning over 6,000 square feet of living space and three separate units, the Thomas Poynton Ives home located at 270-272 Benefit Street has sold for $2,100,000. This historic, College Hill residence offers views of the Providence skyline and is in the heart of the walkable East Side neighborhood. The buyers of the home were represented by Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The sellers were represented by Jim DeRentis of Residential Properties.

Features of the property include fireplaces in all living and dining rooms and private, off-street parking. According to data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest multi-family sale in the municipality in over 10 years.
