The Pousette-Dart Band played before a packed house of over three hundred at The Narrows Center on Friday night. The soft rock group enjoyed some mainstream success in the 1970’s, releasing five albums with Capitol records.
The band is led by gifted singer-songwriter Jon Pousette-Dart, and is currently comprised of Jim Chapdelaine on lead guitar, Eric Parker on drums, and Steve Roues on upright bass. Formed in Cambridge, MA in 1973, the band’s sound has stood the test of time, with a loyal following for nearly fifty years.
Pousette-Dart and company performed many fan favorites, including several from their 1977 Billboard charting album Amnesia. The band weaved their way through their catalog of harmonious tunes such as “Fall on Me,” “May You Dance,” “County Line,” “Yaicha,” and their signature hit “Amnesia.”
