Legendary singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge performed before a near-sellout crowd at beautiful Indian Ranch on Saturday afternoon June 29th. Etheridge wowed the audience with her distinctive voice and roots rock sound.
A forecast of severe weather did not deter fans from showing up in masses to see their favorite icon play their beloved tunes. Superb weather held out, as scenic Lake Chaubunagungamaug and the outdoor amphitheater provided the perfect backdrop for a day of sweet music.
The multi-platinum, Grammy nominated, and Oscar Award winning artist played as tight as ever. Etheridge sang her hits, covering a career spanning over thirty years, belting out hit such as “Ain’t It Heavy,” “I Want to Come Over,” “Come to My Window,” “Bring Me Some Water,” and finishing with her smash hit “I’m the Only One.”
