Festival Recap: Good Vibes at 2019 Rhythm and Roots Festival

Annual Festival Draws Thousands to Charlestown

The 22nd Annual Rhythm and Roots Festival returned to Charlestown, RI this weekend with perfect weather, a talented line-up, and good vibes all around.

The music was diverse, from Sarah Potenza’s evolving pop feel to the deep roots of acts like Hat Fitz and Cara and Los Texmaniacs. Additional highlights included high energy sets from The Mavericks, Railroad Earth and Victor Wainright.

Turnout was excellent – the mood at R&R is loose and lively – enjoy the music, shop the vendors, chow down, respect your neighbor and anything goes. The boots are made for dancing and weekend camping continues to be popular.
