High School Football: No scoring allowed; Westerly pushes past Mt. Hope

Westerly’s defense throttled Mt. Hope, resulting in a shutout win 35-0 for a Rhode Island high school football victory on October 11.

The Bulldogs drew first blood by forging a 21-0 margin over the Huskies after the first quarter.

Westerly’s offense breathed fire to a 28-0 lead over Mt. Hope at the intermission.

Both teams were scoreless in the fourth quarter.
