The 32nd Annual Newport Winter Festival, touted as “New England’s Largest Winter Extravaganza,” will take place February 14th-23rd throughout Newport and Newport County. Community Barn Dance at St. George’s School (Newport)

Join the Newport String Project and Common Fence Music for a Fall Community Barn Dance. It will be an afternoon of fiddle-fueled fun, when participants will learn how to sashay, promenade and much more with the guidance of seasoned dance caller Jim Hicks. NSP co-founder EmmaLee Holmes-Hicks will be fiddling with the Rusty Pick-Up String Band and local favorites Tom Perrotti and Mike Fischman.
