Quahog Week returns March 23-29

Quahog Week is back – bigger & better than ever!

The 5th Annual Quahog Week, a statewide celebration of our iconic Rhode Island clam, highlights the many restaurants, markets, fishermen and food-based businesses committed to growing Rhode Island’s local food economy, with a special emphasis on quahogs.

The initiative was created by RIDEM in partnership with the RI Seafood Marketing Collaborative, with strong support from the RI Shellfisherman’s Association.

From March 23-29, restaurants and markets across Rhode Island will celebrate this sustainable resources and its year-round availability by featuring a quahog dish on their menu.
